Molly Taylor had a disappointing weekend at the Car Auctions Sydney Rally of Lithgow. Taylor, and co-driver Dale Moscatt, suffered bad brake knock-off problems in their Mitsubishi Mirage, and as a result were unable to slow down enough for a right hander, clipping a bank and breaking the left hand front hub.
The brake problems were evident from the very first stage of the event which didn’t inspire much confidence, however Taylor still held down 10th outright at the first service - a great effort as the event was a round of the NSW rally championship.
“I am certainly learning the highs and lows of rallying!” she commented after the rally.
